VEHICLE SEIZED IN CAMHOUSES

On 02/03/2026 at around 03:00 officers from our Road Crime Team spotted a silver Renault Clio driving along Pennine Way.

The vehicle was showing as having no insurance. 

Officers followed the vehicle into Camhouses where the vehicle came to a stop and the driver & front seat passenger have abandoned the vehicle and ran off.

The vehicle was seized by Police and a Section 172 (Road Traffic Act 1988) request has been sent to the registered keeper.
